Job summary

Aspire Physical Recovery Center Of West Alabama is seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse for the evening shift. This 7 On / 7 Off schedule provides a full week off between rotations while offering the consistency of a full‑time nursing position.

Responsibilities include direct resident care, medication administration, and supervision of LPNs/CNAs, with emphasis on quality care and effective communication within the care team.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing – REQUIRED.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long‑term care, or post‑acute care experience preferred.
• Charge Nurse experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and leadership skills.
• Dependable and committed to quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and coordinate resident care during the assigned shift.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Assess residents, monitor changes in condition, and ensure appropriate follow‑up.
• Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs on the assigned unit.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory requirements.
