ECU Health Beaufort Hospital, a campus of ECU Health Medical Center, is a 142-bed full-service hospital located in Washington. It has earned national designation as a Primary Stroke Center and features a 16-bed emergency department serving approximately 25,000 patients annually, along with the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center, general medical and surgical services, a women’s birthing center, rehabilitation services, and outpatient clinics.

Position Summary

Starting base pay rate is $32/hr; Up to $30K Commitment Incentive.

  • Responsible for providing nursing care in accordance with the North Carolina Board of Nursing-Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, and other professional standards. Care will adhere to ECU Health policies and standards.
  • Responsible for assessing patient data, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating patient progress, ensuring sensitivity to age-specific needs.
  • Promote effective team functioning, collaborate with healthcare team members, delegate tasks appropriately, and document care processes.

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma in Nursing, Associates in Nursing, or higher
  • Current NC RN license or licensure in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state
  • AHA Basic Life Support certification
