Job summary

UH Lake West Medical Center Cath Lab in Willoughby, OH seeks an experienced RN to join our cardiac cath lab team. Responsibilities include delivering nursing care, scrubbing, circulating or monitoring procedures, and collaborating with the care team to ensure safe, efficient patient care on a 4-10 hour shift.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of ED or ICU experience and be willing to take call with a 20-minute travel window.

Qualifications

• Active RN license; Ohio

• Ability to scrub, circulate, or monitor cath lab cases
• Willingness to take call and travel to hospital within 20 minutes
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Job description

A Brief Overview

Serving at our health system’s most advanced and complex cardiac catheterization laboratory, the UH Lake West Medical Center Cath Lab performs a variety of state of the art procedures giving our team a well-rounded experience in coronary, peripheral, and aortic interventions. Cardiac Cath Lab RNs may scrub, circulate or monitor cases.

Working 4 - 10 hour days - 7 am to 5:30 pm

Will take call - need to be able to get to the hospital within 20 minutes

Looking for RN's with 1 year of Experience in either Emergency Department or the ICU

Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.
