On-Call Duties:Participation in on-call rotation is required, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must be within 30 minutes of the facility during call rotation. Our highly skilled team of nurses, technicians, and physicians performs a wide array of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including cardiovascular interventions, peripheral procedures and advanced radiology procedures such as port placements, kyphoplasty, tube placements, and ablations.Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Assessment and Preparation:Conduct thorough assessments of patients prior to procedures, including reviewing medical history, obtaining vital signs, and preparing patients both physically and emotionally for the procedure.
  • Procedure Assistance:Assist cardiologists and other medical professionals during various procedures. This includes preparing and managing equipment, monitoring patient status, and ensuring a sterile environment.
  • Monitoring and Documentation:Continuously monitor patients’ vital signs and responses during procedures, promptly recognizing and addressing any complications. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care, medications administered, and procedural outcomes.
  • Post-Procedure Care:Provide comprehensive post-procedure care, including monitoring recovery, managing pain and discomfort, and educating patients and families about post-procedure care and follow-up instructions.
  • Emergency Response:Be prepared to respond to emergencies promptly, utilizing advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) skills to stabilize patients as needed.
