Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Cath Lab team. This full-time day shift position involves 12-hour shifts with call requirements and a revolving 5-week weekend schedule.

Applicants should have an active RN license and 1–3 years of recent critical care or Cath Lab experience. The hospital offers extensive benefits, growth opportunities, and is part of Lifepoint Health."

Qualifications

  • Current state RN license required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • ACLS and PALS certification required within six months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.
  • 1–3 years of recent critical care or Cath Lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
  • Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
  • Performs timely and accurate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
  • Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.

Fulltime: Days
Schedule

12 hour shifts. Call required. Every 5th weekend required ( revolving 5 week track schedule).

What We Are Looking For

Applicants should have a current state RN license.

Additional Requirements Include

Bachelors degree preferred but not required

Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.

ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.

One Year Of Experience Preferred

1-3 years preferred with recent critical care or Cath Lab experience
