Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Methodist Hospital Hill Country in Fredericksburg, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, efficient care on our Cath Lab unit. You will collaborate with the patient care team, apply nursing processes, and participate in continuous improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Qualified candidates hold an RN license in Texas or compact license, have at least 6 months of clinical RN experience, and will obtain BLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
• Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (RN Compact license holders must obtain Texas RN License within 60 days of hire).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process with critical thinking and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care.
• Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
• Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by engagement in unit and organizational activities.
• Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team.
• Deliver quality nursing care services and promote a positive image of nursing.
