Job summary

Methodist Hospital Hill Country is seeking a Registered Nurse RN for the Cath Lab PRN position to support our fast-paced interventional team.

The role requires Cath Lab experience and the ability to take call, providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the care team, and maintaining professional standards in a dynamic setting. We offer orientation, mentorship from specialty educators, leadership development, and state-of-the-art patient care technologies.

Qualifications

• Cath Lab experience is required.
• ACLS within 90 days of start date.
• BLS within 30 days of start date.
• Graduate of an accredited RN program (Diploma/ASN/BSN).
• Minimum 6 months RN clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe nursing care using the nursing process and clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality outcomes.

What You Will Do In Your Role:

• You will consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.

• Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse

• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 60 days of hire date)
