Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cath Lab at Valley View Medical Center in Bullhead City, AZ. You will deliver direct patient care, ensure safety, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes in a smaller hospital setting.

The role requires an active RN license, an ADN (BSN preferred), and at least six months of Medical/Surgical experience; BCLS and ACLS/BCLS certification are required. Comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum six months of Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that emphasizes patient safety and reduces medical errors.
• Formulates and revises an individualized plan of care based on patient response.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to care team, provider, patient and family.
• Coordinates patient care across disciplines including transfer, discharge, referrals and psychosocial support.

How you'll contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:

Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors.

Ability to formulate an individualized plan of care, revise plan as indicated by the patient's response to treatment, and evaluation overall plan daily for effectiveness.

Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, provider, patient and family following chain of command as appropriate.

Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.

Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.

Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient protecting patient's rights.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current state RN license. Additional requirements include:

Associate's Degree in Nursing Required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred
