Job summary

Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, IL, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cath Lab to provide and coordinate patient care in a Level I trauma center.

Shifts are 4 ten-hour days from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm with on-call responsibilities, including a 30-minute response time seven days per month, and weekend commitments.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ICU/ED/Cath Lab RN experience.

Where You Will Work:

Level 1 Trauma Center

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ICU/ED/Cath Lab RN experience

What You’ll Do:

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
