Job Overview

As a Registered Nurse CC, you will be responsible for:

• Identifying particular needs while implementing quality standards of nursing care in your clinical specialty area.
• Evaluating and documenting patient status and progress through phone calls, test results, and report preparation.
• Assessing the quality of nursing care via patient rounds.
• Serving as a liaison between patients/families, medical staff, and others involved in treatment, advocating for patient-centered care based on collaboratively resolved healthcare goals.
• Providing direct patient care within your specialty.
• Acting as a resource to patient care units, outpatient clinics, and medical staff regarding your clinical specialty.
• Offering educational services to patients, their families, and hospital staff about clinical specialties.
