RRC Solutions Group is seeking a CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) for the inpatient unit in Great Falls, Montana. The role is nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, on-site, with a 3x12s schedule and a strong emphasis on high nurse-to-patient ratios and supportive leadership.

The ideal candidate has post-graduate ICU/Cardiac experience, active Montana RN licensure or compact, and ACLS/BLS certification with PES and ongoing professional development. Relocation and full benefits are possible.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; RN license active in Montana or compact.
• BC/ACLS required; BLS at minimum; PALS if applicable within 6 months.
• Post-graduate ICU/CCU experience with cardiovascular surgery patients.
• Strong clinical leadership and teamwork in a high-acuity setting.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct clinical care for cardiovascular patients from admission to discharge.
• Operate advanced cardiac and life-support equipment including ventilators and CRRT.
• Monitor patients with IABP and Impella devices and adjust as needed.
• Assume clinical leadership on the floor and coordinate with staff.
• Collaborate with Providers and charge nurses on care plans and discharge planning.
• Maintain meticulous electronic documentation of patient status and outcomes.

We have partnered closely with a prominent regional healthcare system to secure a full-time, dedicated nursing professional for their inpatient critical care services division. We are currently seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join a specialized clinical team on the night shift. This hospital-based position is ideal for an RN looking for a supportive environment that emphasizes excellent nurse-to-patient ratios, robust administrative backing, and a strong culture of teamwork and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, direct clinical care to medical, surgical, and cardiovascular patients requiring advanced physiological monitoring from admission through discharge.
• Manage and operate advanced cardiac and life-support equipment, including mechanical ventilators, central lines, arterial lines, multiple titration IV pumps, and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT).
• Monitor and manage patients utilizing advanced cardiac assist devices, such as intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP) and Impella pumps.
• Serve as a clinical leader on the floor, providing direction and collaborative support to RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and ancillary hospital staff.
• Collaborate closely with Providers, Charge Nurses, and nurse leadership to implement evidence-based care plans and thorough discharge planning.
• Maintain meticulous, timely electronic documentation of patient status, interventions, and clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred).
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Montana (or immediate compact/endorsement eligibility).
• Certifications: Core certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are required. Must complete PALS courses within 6 months of hire. EPNC and TNCC certifications are preferred; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is also noted as preferred on qualifications.
• Required Experience: Proven post-graduate clinical practice in an advanced Medical/Surgical unit coupled with recent Critical Care/ICU nursing experience specifically involving cardiovascular surgery patients.
• Preferred Experience: 1 to 2 years of dedicated Cardiac Surgical ICU experience is strongly preferred. Hands-on clinical familiarity with Impella pumps, cardiac balloon pumps, and CRRT equipment is preferred.
• Core Skills: Advanced nursing principles and procedures, proficiency with basic office equipment, use of multiple IV pumps, and ability to operate advanced medical equipment.
