Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC partners with a regional healthcare system to place a CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) on the night shift in Great Falls, Montana. This full-time, on-site role focuses on inpatient critical care with favorable nurse-to-patient ratios and supportive leadership.

The position requires ADN with BSN preferred, Montana RN licensure, and ACLS/BLS; experience in cardiac surgery ICU is highly valued.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required; BSN preferred).
• Active Montana RN licensure or compact/endorsement eligibility.
• Core certifications in BLS and ACLS; PALS within 6 months; TNCC/PALS preferred.
• Post-graduate clinical practice in an advanced Medical/Surgical unit with ICU/Cardiac experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct clinical care to medical, surgical, and cardiovascular patients with advanced monitoring.
• Operate cardiac life-support equipment including ventilators, arterial lines, and CRRT.
• Monitor patients with IABP and Impella pumps; ensure accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with providers, charge nurses, and staff to implement care plans and discharge planning.
• Maintain timely electronic documentation of patient status and outcomes.

Location: Great Falls, Montana

We have partnered closely with a prominent regional healthcare system to secure a full-time, dedicated nursing professional for their inpatient critical care services division. We are currently seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join a specialized clinical team on the night shift. This hospital-based position is ideal for an RN looking for a supportive environment that emphasizes excellent nurse-to-patient ratios, robust administrative backing, and a strong culture of teamwork and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, direct clinical care to medical, surgical, and cardiovascular patients requiring advanced physiological monitoring from admission through discharge.
• Manage and operate advanced cardiac and life-support equipment, including mechanical ventilators, central lines, arterial lines, multiple titration IV pumps, and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT).
• Monitor and manage patients utilizing advanced cardiac assist devices, such as intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP) and Impella pumps.
• Serve as a clinical leader on the floor, providing direction and collaborative support to RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and ancillary hospital staff.
• Collaborate closely with Providers, Charge Nurses, and nurse leadership to implement evidence-based care plans and thorough discharge planning.
• Maintain meticulous, timely electronic documentation of patient status, interventions, and clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred).
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Montana (or immediate compact/endorsement eligibility).
• Certifications: Core certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are required. Must complete PALS courses within 6 months of hire. EPNC and TNCC certifications are preferred; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is also noted as preferred on qualifications.
• Required Experience: Proven post-graduate clinical practice in an advanced Medical/Surgical unit coupled with recent Critical Care/ICU nursing experience specifically involving cardiovascular surgery patients.
• Preferred Experience: 1 to 2 years of dedicated Cardiac Surgical ICU experience is strongly preferred. Hands-on clinical familiarity with Impella pumps, cardiac balloon pumps, and CRRT equipment is preferred.
• Core Skills: Advanced nursing principles and procedures, proficiency with basic office equipment, use of multiple IV pumps, and ability to operate advanced medical equipment.

Final hourly compensation will be verified and determined by the organization based on your documented years of critical care experience. All job offers are contingent upon the successful completion of standard pre-employment screenings, including a criminal background check, drug screening, and health/immunization verification.
