Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) - Memorial Regional Medical Center

Join us to apply for the Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) role at Memorial Regional Medical Center with Bon Secours Mercy Health.

This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 for external applicants with at least one year of RN experience. Internal associates are not eligible for sign-on bonuses.

About the Role

We are an 11-bed Cardiac Surgery unit utilizing a universal bed model, allowing patients to stay until they are ready for discharge. Our team provides comprehensive cardiac surgery care, including care for cardiac arrest, cardiogenic shock, STEMI, and post-PCI patients. The unit fosters a culture of collaboration and patient-centered care, ensuring high-quality outcomes and nurse satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status utilizing organizational and leadership skills
• Prioritize patient problems and needs
• Implement clinical interventions for critically ill patients
• Develop and execute patient care plans to improve outcomes
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment

Essential Functions

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
• Conduct and analyze assessments, create care plans, and evaluate treatments
• Prioritize information and take evidence-based actions
• Respond confidently to rapidly changing patient conditions
• Administer medications safely according to policies
• Perform other duties as assigned
