Job Details

This is a 100% onsite position based in the greater Chicagoland area, working in the Cardiology unit. The pay range is $49.00/hr, and the shift is days (8-hour shifts from 6:30 am to 3 pm). The role is classified as a registry (0.01 FTE).

Responsibilities

• Assess, design, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with physicians.
• Provide complex nursing skills, delegate tasks, and supervise team members according to unit-specific competencies.
• Monitor the quality of patient care and satisfaction.
• Engage in professional development and ensure efficient daily operations of the Patient Care Center.
• Support hospital standards, policies, and the organizational mission.
• Work collaboratively with the care team to meet patient, family, and physician needs, exceeding expectations where possible.
• Adhere to all compliance, safety, and policy guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN or ADN).
• Current RN license in Illinois or valid temporary permit.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

• At least five years of acute care or related nursing experience.
