Qualifications

• 1 year of acute care experience in MS or TELE/PCU/Cardiac.
• Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Preferred: CVICU/ICU, or min 2 years in Cardiac Stepdown; BSN; AZ RN license; CPR or ACLS as applicable by facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized bedside care utilizing the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Take part in hourly rounding and may serve in a charge nurse capacity as needed.
• Provide professional nursing care within an assigned unit.
• Coordinate care planning with other disciplines.
• Position renders individualized, age specific and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs.
• Supervises other members of the healthcare team and ensures safety guidelines.

• May at times be asked to be in charge of shift(s).

Minimum Requirements
