Job summary

Tenet-AZ Region is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiology for a nursing job in Glendale, Arizona. Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit and coordinates care planning with other disciplines. The role involves direct bedside care, supervising others, and evaluating nursing practice for patient goals.

Required licenses include RN in Arizona, CPR, ACLS as applicable; PALS/ENPC and NRP may be required by department. BSN preferred with ACLS certification.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• L&D only: Advanced Fetal Monitoring or must obtain within six months of hire.
• Level II EQ Only: A minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational and discharge planning needs.
• Coordinate care plans with other disciplines and direct nursing care.
• Implement nursing and medical orders and evaluate patient status.
• Observe safety guidelines and maintain quality of care.
• May be asked to be in charge for a shift.
