Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 4 East Cardiac Telemetry unit in Nashua, NH. This per diem position requires caring for adolescents and adults with cardiac and telemetry needs, with orientation to the 4 East patient population.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, collaboration with the care team, and delivering compassionate nursing care across a range of diagnoses. Per diem shifts offer flexibility within our Patient Care Services.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN).
• NH RN licensure required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a cardiac telemetry unit.
• Basic Life Support within 30 days; IV Therapy and central line competencies within 90–180 days; advanced cardiac care competencies within 18 months.

About the Job:

As a member of the Patient Care Services team, the 4 East Registered Nurse provides comprehensive and compassionate nursing care to adolescent and adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses with a specialization in cardiac patients, cardiac invasive procedures and telemetry monitoring. The registered nurse successfully completes a competency based orientation program to become proficient in serving the 4 East patient population.

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN) Registered Nurse, licensed in the state of NH Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a cardiac telemetry unit Ability to achieve the following competencies:Within 30 days: Basic Life SupportWithin 90 days: Intravenous Therapy, Central Line ManagementWithin 180 days: Basic Rhythm Interpretation/Telemetry MonitoringWithin one (1) year: Management of Critical Care Medications and Infusions, Care of the Post-Vascular Access Patient, Peritoneal DialysisWithin 18 months: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
