Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 4 East Cardiac Telemetry unit in Nashua, NH. This per diem role provides comprehensive nursing care for cardiac and related patient populations, following a competency-based orientation to serve the 4 East unit.

As a nurse on 4 East, you will perform assessments, integrate best practices, and engage patients and families in care planning, while maintaining professional standards within your scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Registered Nurse, licensed in NH.
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a cardiac telemetry unit.

4 East is a 31-bed cardiac telemetry unit serving a patient population of cardiac, catherization recovery, stroke, pulmonary embolism, diabetic and endocrine disorders, neurological and renal disorders.

About the Job:

As a member of the Patient Care Services team, the 4 East Registered Nurse provides comprehensive and compassionate nursing care to adolescent and adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses with a specialization in cardiac patients, cardiac invasive procedures and telemetry monitoring. The registered nurse successfully completes a competency based orientation program to become proficient in serving the 4 East patient population.

• Ability to achieve the following competencies:Within 30 days: Basic Life SupportWithin 90 days: Intravenous Therapy, Central Line ManagementWithin 180 days: Basic Rhythm Interpretation/Telemetry MonitoringWithin one (1) year: Management of Critical Care Medications and Infusions, Care of the Post-Vascular Access Patient, Peritoneal DialysisWithin 18 months: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
