Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin seeks a Weekend Program Nights RN for 7 South Cardiac Telemetry at West Allis Medical Center. This full-time role covers 36 hours weekly with 12-hour night shifts (1900-0730) and includes weekend/holiday rotation, plus night and weekend differentials.

You will join a dedicated team delivering high-quality cardiac care. The unit cares for cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure, chest pain, MI, and dialysis patients; CNAs and RNs collaborate to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
  • Newly licensed RNs and experienced RNs welcome.
  • RN license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association).
  • Bachelor of science in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care per standards and policies.
  • Coordinate patient care and ensure safety and quality.

Where You Will Work

7 South is a 21-bed acute care unit providing care to patients with Cardiac Arrythmias, Congestive Heart Failure, Chest Pain, MI, and Peritoneal Dialysis. Master skills in pharmacology, pathophysiology, laboratory value interpretation and cardiac telemetry. Leadership champions a supportive learning environment, team collaboration, and patient centric care which optimizes patient outcomes. Our unit RNs become ACLS certified within 1 year and provide response to all in house Code 4 calls. Find your heart with our cardiac patients on 7 South at West Allis.

We’re Looking For
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Newly Licensed RN’s and Experienced RN’s Welcome!
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Bachelor of science in nursing preferred
