Qualifications

  • Nursing Diploma or ADN required; BSN preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year RN experience or completion of RN residency.
  • Cardiac or telemetry experience preferred.
  • RN license required at hire; BCLS/ACLS/CPI/NIHSS certifications required.
  • Commitment to safety, teamwork and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

RN – Cardiac Stepdown

Work location: Texas Health HEB: 1600 Hospital Parkway Bedford, Texas 76022

Work hours: PRN; Rotating Shift (3 shifts/6 week schedule period, 1 weekend, 1 major and 1 minor holiday)

Qualifications
  • Nursing Diploma Nursing required OR
  • Associate's Degree Nursing required OR
  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
  • 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
  • Previous cardiac or telemetry experience preferred.
  • RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required AND
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required AND
  • ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required AND
  • CPI – Crisis Prevention Training maintained annually 90 days required AND
  • NIHSS – National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 30 days required
