Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse for a fast-paced cardiovascular unit, caring for post-cardiac and vascular patients, chest pain, and heart failure. You will join a team focused on learning and delivering exceptional care.

Ideal candidates have an active Indiana RN license, accredited nursing education, and strong communication and teamwork skills. Acute care experience is preferred; EPIC experience is a plus, with a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• RN license in Indiana with current state licensure.
• Accredited school (NLN/CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA) or 3+ years related nursing experience.
• Acute care experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassion, accountability and self-direction.
• EPIC experience is a plus.

The Registered Nurse will work in a fast-paced unit caring for post-cardiac and vascular procedural patients, those with chest pain, congestive heart failure and/or post-PACU patients (recover and go home the next day). The Registered Nurse will be a part of an exciting, fast-paced environment ideal for learning and growing in the area of cardiovascular nursing!

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

• Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• Acute care experience preferred, but willing to consider new grads.
• Excellent communication skills.
