Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Cath Lab on a PRN basis. You will provide patient-centered, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 2 years of ICU/critical care nursing, an active Texas RN license (or Compact), and BLS/ACLS certification. Bachelor’s degree preferred. On-call duties are included, with opportunities to contribute to a leading healthcare team in central Houston.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Critical Care Nursing experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (RN Compact License holders must obtain Texas RN License within 90 days).
• Current American Heart Association BLS/ACLS Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for assigned patients.
• Assist with all procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Scrub, circulate and record.
• Monitor patient status to ensure optimal outcomes.
• On-call participation required.

Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Cath Lab for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care.
