Job summary

Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, OK is seeking a full-time Cardiac Catheterization Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for day shift. You will deliver comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced lab setting.

Responsibilities include applying nursing processes, responding to emergencies, and supporting cardiac procedures such as pacing and hemodynamic monitoring, with emphasis on patient safety and teamwork. Oklahoma RN license and BLS are required, ACLS within six months of hire or upon hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Oklahoma RN license.
• BLS certification at minimum.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire or upon hire.
• Must obtain and maintain certification if ACLS not current.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab using the nursing process.
• Respond to life-threatening situations with appropriate interventions.
• Support patient care in invasive radiology environments including pacing and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Prioritize, delegate, and evaluate patient care continuously.

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes knowledge bases of nursing education and experience in order to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.


• Responds to life threatening situations with appropriate interventions.


• Practices in a Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Invasive Radiology environment through the application of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, included but not limited to cardiac pacing, hemodynamic monitoring, mechanical ventilation.


• Organizes patient care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program


• Licensure: Current Oklahoma RN license


• Must obtain and maintain a current BLS


• If ACLS certified upon hire, must maintain; otherwise, obtain certification within the first 6 months of employment and maintain

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Experience 2 years on cardiac floor or Critical Care Unit (ED, ICU)
