Job summary

Research Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, Inc., seeks an experienced cardio-nursing professional to coordinate and provide patient care in the Cardiology Department. You will administer medications, monitor vital signs and EKG, and perform post-procedure assessment to ensure accurate documentation and care.

Under the general direction of the Cardiology Nurse Manager, coordinates and provides patient care and assumes individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care as related to the Cardiology Department. Administers medications, monitorspatient vital signs/EKG, performs continual patient assessment duringpatient’sstay in the Cardiology Department. Documentsaccuratenursing records and patient data. Coordinates patient teaching andpost procedureassessment. Performs emergency cardiopulmonary resuscitation.Assistswithin serviceeducation. Collects and assembles data for data base, outcomeanalysisand performance improvement. Responsible to carry out any other activities assigned by the Cardiology Nurse Manager toassurethe department runs effectively and efficiently. Responds within 30 minutes when onstand byand able toassistat other system Cath lab asneeded.
