Job Summary and Qualifications

About this unit: Cardiac Telemetry nurses assess acute changes in patients, monitor heart rhythms, interpret ECGs, and intervene in emergencies. Our nurses care for patients post-open heart surgeries, catheterizations, ablations, pacemaker/AICD placements, and are part of a comprehensive stroke/stemi facility.

Who are we? Two 29-bed units specializing in cardiac patient care, including acute and chronic heart failure, electrophysiology, structural heart procedures, post-operative cardiac surgery, and catheterization.

What makes us special? We provide care for TAVR patients outside of the ICU, collaborate closely with cardiology providers, and offer high-level critical care outside of ICU settings.

Growth opportunities: Building critical thinking and skills, with pathways to ICU, cath lab, EP lab, or leadership roles within 18-24 months.
