Advocate Health's 7 West Cancer Center in Winston-Salem, NC seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to care for adults undergoing Bone Marrow Transplant, chemotherapy, and cellular therapies. The role requires an active RN license in the state, 2+ years of RN Oncology experience, and BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

BMT or chemotherapy experience is highly preferred. You will work within a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Competenze

• At least 2+ years of RN Oncology experience.

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state in which you practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association.

Registered Nurse (RN) - 7 Cancer Center WEST: BMT

Winston Salem, NC, United States

Where You Will Work:

7 West is a 17-bed adult specialty unit that provides high-quality nursing care for our patients when they are receiving a Bone Marrow Transplant. Our specialties include Chemotherapy, conditioning for transplants as well as cell recovery post-transplant. The length of stay on this unit is around 25 days. All cellular therapy products are administered in this unit.

We’re Looking For:

• Required: At least & 2+ years of RN Oncology experience
• Highly preferred: BMT or Chemo experience
• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

What You’ll Do:

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
