Job summary

Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Best Fit Program. The program provides in-depth experiences across three specialty units with cohort support during a three‑month orientation to the RN role.

New grads or those graduating in Fall 2026 are encouraged to apply; RN licensure by Feb. 1, 2027 cohort start is required. Comprehensive benefits start Day 1 and a night/weekend differential are offered.

Schedule details:

  • Full time-72 hours per pay period. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift during the best fit orientation. Night shift placement post Best Fit Program. (If other openings are available, there is the potential to negotiate for a different shift with Manager of unit chosen, however alternate shifts are not guaranteed).
  • Holiday and weekend rotation.

We’re Looking For
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
What You’ll Do

The Best Fit Program is innovatively designed to provide newly licensed Registered Nurses in-depth realistic job experiences on three different specialty units at St. Luke's Medical Center.

  • Applicants will work in a cohort for collaboration and support throughout the program.
  • The program participation starts and progresses over three months of orientation to the RN role.
  • In collaboration with the BFO Program Manager, three specialty units will be selected for the unit rotations.
  • Through a Realistic Job Preview of each unit's culture, the candidate will determine and choose which unit best fits their career goal for longevity.

Currently accepting candidates who will be graduating in Fall of 2026, requires RN licensure for Feb.1, 2027 cohort start.
