Job summary

Lifepoint Health's Tampa General Behavioral Health Hospital in Tampa, FL seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, day shift to deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, contribute to discharge planning, and monitor patient conditions.

A BSN/ADN or Diploma and active RN license are required, with CPR and de-escalation cert or training within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
• Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process-Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation
• Collaborate closely with patients, families, and our interdisciplinary care team to create personalized care plans
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient conditions to physicians, supervisors, and colleagues
• Play a key role in the discharge planning process to support safe, successful transitions

As a Registered Nurse, you'll be a trusted partner in our patients' recovery journeys. You will:

Qualifications And Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
• Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.

Additional Requirements Include

• CPR and De-escalation certification required or obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
