Job summary

Copper Springs East, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Behavioral Health RN for a 3x12 night shift, including 4 weekend shifts per month, in Gilbert, AZ. You will provide direct patient care on a behavioral health unit within an integrated hospital system.

Join a supportive team in a modern facility focused on safety, compassion, and excellence. Arizona licensure, BLS, and an associate degree are required, with BSN preferred for career growth.

Qualifications

• Requires an active RN license (Arizona or compact with AZ endorsement).
• Associate degree from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care within set timeframes and document findings per policy.
• Demonstrate leadership through duties that may include delegating groups, close observation, and meal supervision.
• Oversee nursing staff to ensure policy adherence and consistent, high‑quality patient care by the team.
• Administer medications following hospital policy.

How You'll Contribute

A Behavioral Health RN who excels in this role:

• Assesses patient and plan care within set timeframes and document findings according to policies
• Demonstrates leadership through duties that may include delegating tasks such as groups, close observation, meal supervision, etc
• Will also oversee staff to ensure nursing policies and procedures are followed and exemplary patient care is consistently delivered by self and all members of the team
• RN will follow hospital policy for medication administration

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Licenses: Must have a current Arizona State License or Compact License with Arizona endorsement.
• Education: Associate's degree required. BSN preferred.
