Monarch Healthcare Management in Minnesota is seeking an RN - Registered Nurse to oversee and coordinate resident care in accordance with Minnesota BON standards and the Residents’ Bill of Rights. You will establish baseline health status, develop a Plan of Care, and supervise LPNs and CNAs to ensure safety and high-quality outcomes.

You will collect data, use it to improve patient outcomes, and ensure documentation aligns with QAPI.

Qualifications

• Completion of a professional nursing education program approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing or equivalent foreign degree.
• Current Minnesota Registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Current Certification in CPR and emergency care.
• CGFNS certificate (or equivalent) or full unrestricted license to practice in Minnesota, or NCLEX-RN eligibility.

RN- Registered Nurse

Description

The RN manages and supervises resident care ensuring the highest quality of care is received in accordance with the Minnesota BON standards, is guided by the Residents’ Bill of Rights and abides by the facility Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program. Through the collection and analysis of data, the RN is accountable for performing a comprehensive assessment to establish the baseline health status of residents as well as to create a detailed Plan of Care that includes individual needs and preferences. RNs oversee practical nurses, CNAs and nursing personnel through assessment of their knowledge, skill and capabilities; clarifying expectations and addressing behaviors to ensure the safety of residents and to attain the ultimate goal of achieving and maintaining the highest practicable physical, mental and psychosocial well-being of each resident. Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. Be accountable for safety, identify and correct problems, and integrate evidence, and best practice into nursing care. Use data and evidence to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

• Completion of a professional nursing education program approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing
• Associate’s degree in Nursing or equivalent foreign degree
• Current Minnesota Registration as a Registered Nurse
• Current Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and emergency care
• Also requires CGFNS certificate (or equivalent credentialing organization), or full unrestricted license to practice professional nursing in Minnesota, or passage of the NCELX-RN exam.

Preferred

• Experience in skilled nursing and/or assisted living facilities
