St. Mary's Medical Center is actively seeking a Registered Nurse to join our night shift team.

The RN will coordinate and deliver high-quality care using the nursing process, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction in a fast-paced hospital setting. The ideal candidate will possess an RN license, BLS/CPR certification, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and staff to develop and implement patient care plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Registered Nurse Program.
• Active RN license.
• BLS/CPR certification; ACLS/NRP and FHM training as required.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, psychosocial, educational and growth and development needs of the patient.
• Develop a written plan of care using assessment data.
• Implements nursing care plan.
• Evaluates patient's response to interventions.
• Demonstrates leadership skills and assists in organizing patient care activities.

Up to $10,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.

The Registered Nurse, using critical thinking skills, coordinates and provides safe, quality care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Assists in organizing patient care activities as assigned.

Certifications:

• BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN)
• Pass EKG test within 180 days of hire
• Inexperienced (Novice or new to L&D):
  • ACLS (AMERICAN HEART ASSN) - WITHIN 180 DAYS OF HIRE
  • NRP (AMERICAN ACADEMY OF PEDIATRICS - WITHIN 90 days
  • AWHONN INTERMEDIATE FETAL MONITORING Course- WITHIN 9 months
• Experienced (>1 year OB experience within last 5 years)
  • ACLS at hire
  • NRP at hire
  • Proof of current AWHONN Intermediate fetal heart monitoring course at hire or one of following:
    • AWHONN FHM Advanced course
    • AWHONN FHM Simulation (FHMSIM) Intermediate level
    • C-EFM (NCC-Electronic FM)
