Job summary

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Previous experience in an acute or long-term health care facility is a plus.
• Current CPR license required.

• Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice is within State and Federal guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice is within State and Federal guidelines.
• Review all referrals for consultation, treatment, or resolution of problems to ensure they are valid and applicable to the documented nursing plans.
• Evaluate and monitor resident responses to daily implementation of nursing care to ensure the provision of resident care plans is met.
• Implement physician orders, nursing interventions, and procedures as needed for the care of the resident.
• Seek opportunities for professional growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain competency levels.
• Set and implement goals and policies consistent with the philosophy and purpose of FutureCare’s nursing facility.
