Job summary

FutureCare is hiring a Registered Nurse in Maryland to join our residence care team. You will assess residents, implement and evaluate care plans, and collaborate with physicians to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

The role requires an active Maryland RN license and CPR certification; 1 year of nursing experience is preferred. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering resident care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practices meet State and Federal guidelines.
• Review referrals for consultation or treatment and ensure alignment with documented nurse plans.
• Evaluate resident responses to daily care to ensure care plans are met; implement physician orders and nursing interventions as needed.
• Seek opportunities for professional growth and expanded responsibilities to maintain competency.
• Set and implement goals and policies aligned with FutureCare’s philosophy.

Competitive Salary $36.00-$44.00/hr and Shift Differentials!

• Responsible for assisting in the delivery of resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice provided is within State and Federal guidelines
• Review all referrals for consultation, treatment or resolution of problems are valid and applicable to the documented nurse plans
• Evaluate and monitor resident responses to daily implementation of nursing care to ensure the provision of resident care plans are met
• Implement physician’s orders, nursing interventions and procedures as needed for the care of the resident
• Seeks opportunities for professional growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain competency levels
• Set and implement goals and policies consistent with the philosophy and purpose of FutureCare’s nursing facility

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred
• Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or long-term health care facility a plus
• Must possess a current CPR license
