Job summary

FutureCare in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver resident care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, while ensuring adherence to State and Federal guidelines.

The ideal candidate holds an active Maryland RN license, CPR certification, and about 1 year of nursing experience; prior acute or long-term care is a plus. FutureCare offers competitive pay, excellent benefits, tuition reimbursement, and career growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred
• Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or long-term health care facility a plus
• Must possess a current CPR license

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting in the delivery of resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice provided is within State and Federal guidelines
• Review all referrals for consultation, treatment or resolution of problems are valid and applicable to the documented nurse plans
• Evaluate and monitor resident responses to daily implementation of nursing care to ensure the provision of resident care plans are met
• Implement physician's orders, nursing interventions and procedures as needed for the care of the resident
• Seeks opportunities for professional growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain competency levels
• Set and implement goals and policies consistent with the philosophy and purpose of FutureCare's nursing facility
