Job summary

Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, Virginia, is hiring new graduate Registered Nurses into our IMCU/Medical Surgical AHRT Float Program. You will rotate between inpatient units every 12 weeks to gain valuable nursing experience on Medical Surgical and IMCU/Stepdown units.

The program offers full-time benefits, new graduate pay, and a $7,500 sign-on bonus with no commitment. After one year you may apply to any unit; the schedule is 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• New graduate Registered Nurses who are licensed.
• Full-time benefits and new graduate pay with rotation on a variety of units.
• Experience on Medical Surgical/IMCU settings preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Orient and work on Medical Surgical Units and IMCU/Stepdown to gain experience.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Our program is designed for new graduate Registered Nurses who are already licensed. You will orient and work on Medical Surgical Units and Intermediate Care Units (IMCU/Stepdown) to gain valuable nursing experience. You will receive full-time benefits and new graduate pay with the addition of working on a Rotation Team to provide you with a variety of patient experiences.

• You will rotate between inpatient units every 12 weeks.


• You may remain in the program for a maximum of 2 years.


• After one (1) year, you may apply to any unit of your choice.


• Full Time: 36 hours per week

Minimum Requirements

License and Certification

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing


• Basic Life Support (BLS)
