Job summary

Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA is hiring new graduate Registered Nurses into our Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) / Medical Surgical AHRT Float Program.

You will orient and work on Medical Surgical Units and IMCU/Stepdown to gain valuable nursing experience, with full-time benefits and a rotation team for diverse patient experiences. The program includes a sign-on bonus of $7,500 with no commitment, and a 36-hour weekly schedule with rotations every 12 weeks.

Overview:

POSITION OVERVIEW

Our program is designed for new graduate Registered Nurses who are already licensed. You will orient and work on Medical Surgical Units and Intermediate Care Units (IMCU/Stepdown) to gain valuable nursing experience. You will receive full-time benefits and new graduate pay with the addition of working on a Rotation Team to provide you with a variety of patient experiences.

• You will rotate between inpatient units every 12 weeks.
• You may remain in the program for a maximum of 2 years.
• After one (1) year, you may apply to any unit of your choice.
• Full Time: 36 hours per week

Minimum Requirements

License and Certification

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Education

• RN-Associate’s Degree
