Overview

The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing individualized, high-quality, safe patient care. This role operates within a clinical environment managed by Nurse Managers and supported by the Wellstar Shared Governance Model. Facility and Shift

Facility: Kennestone Hospital

Shift: Full-time Days, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation based on evidence-based standards.
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care respecting cultural diversity.
• Partner with patients and families using effective communication methods.
• Ensure documentation and care delivery are safe, high-quality, and collaborative.
• Participate in performance improvement, research, and shared governance activities.
• Complete mandatory education and serve as a preceptor or mentor.
• Promote evidence-based practice and participate in clinical research activities.
• Support resource management and care planning across the continuum.
• Adhere to all organizational policies, standards, and legal requirements.

Qualifications
