Job Summary

The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, and individualized care as part of an interdisciplinary team. They practice in accordance with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act, ANA standards, and Wellstar’s models and values.

Core Responsibilities

1. Perform nursing processes including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice.
2. Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care respecting cultural diversity.
3. Partner with patients and their families, ensuring effective communication and goal-oriented care plans.
4. Practice according to current clinical standards.
5. Coordinate safe, quality care and promote teamwork through inclusive communication and documentation.

Minimum Requirements

• Associates or Bachelors in Nursing preferred.
• Valid RN license in Georgia or multi-state compact.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire.
• Less than 1 year of clinical experience post-nursing education preferred.
