Where You Will Work

Our Academic Med-Surg 6MAIN unit that blends high-quality patient care with hands-on clinical education, giving nurse the chance to grow both their skills and their confidence. We care for a wide variety of adult medical and surgical patients, providing a strong foundation in clinical assessment, critical thinking, and teamwork. It’s a supportive, fast paced environment where nurses are encouraged to learn, lead and thrive.

Primary Patient Population (60%):

• General medical patients requiring acute care
• Adult medical patients with multiply co-morbidities

Secondary Patient Population (40%):

• Post-operative surgical patients

We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

What You’ll Do

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
