Job Description Where You Will Work:

Our Academic Med-Surg 6MAIN unit that blends high-quality patient care with hands-on clinical education, giving nurse the chance to grow both their skills and their confidence.

We care for a wide variety of adult medical and surgical patients, providing a strong foundation in clinical assessment, critical thinking, and teamwork.

It's a supportive, fast paced environment where nurses are encouraged to learn, lead and thrive.

Primary Patient Population (60%):
  • General medical patients requiring acute care
  • Adult medical patients with multiply co-morbidities
Secondary Patient Population (40%):
  • Post-operative surgical patients
We're Looking For:
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
What You'll Do:

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center is a nationally recognized academic medical center, nationally-verified Level 1 Trauma Center, Magnet ® hospital for nursing, and serves a service area of 30 counties and a population of nearly 750,000 persons.
