Job summary

BRYANT HEALTH AND REHAB is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver care in short term rehabilitation and long-term geriatric settings. Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, you will develop individualized care plans and oversee daily unit operations.

The ideal candidate holds a current RN license in the state, is a graduate of an approved nursing program, and has strong assessment skills. Supervisory experience is preferred and equal opportunity employment practices apply.

Qualifications

BRYANT HEALTH AND REHAB is hiring a REGISTERED NURSE (RN) to work both short term rehabilitation and long-term care.

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the incumbent Registered Nurse utilizes a general understanding of the principles of Nursing and basic physical assessment skills in the development of and implementation of individualized Nursing Care Plans to ensure that the needs of the customers are met. He/she assists in the orientation of and supervision of Nursing personnel, attends to the daily operations of the unit on a per shift, unit level and assumes responsibilities of a leadership role as needed.

Requirements

• Must have a current Registered Nurse License issued in the state where the person will practice, and the candidate must be a graduate of an approved school of Nursing.
• Possess physical assessment skills and comprehensive knowledge of nursing principles are also required.
• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing and experience in supervisory capacity are preferred.
