Job summary

Great River Health Systems in West Burlington, IA, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Pediatric and Swing Unit. This 36-hour-per-week, part-time role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and 7:00pm–7:30am shifts, with weekend/holiday requirements.

The RN will deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process across neonatal to adult medical/surgical patients. Eligible candidates hold an ADN (BSN preferred) and Iowa RN licensure, with pediatric care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Prefer bachelors degree in nursing or other related field.
• Hospital based nursing health care experience within the last five years preferred.
• Pediatric care experience preferred.
• Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members.
• Interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing.
• Provides high quality care to pediatric and adult medical/surgical inpatients and outpatients.
