PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Reno is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Reno, NV. The RN will deliver, direct, and supervise care using the nursing process across inpatient medical-surgical units, including discharge planning and patient/family education.

Responsibilities include interdisciplinary care planning and potential Charge Nurse duties with ACLS and BLS requirements. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Current RN license in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• Current ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses.

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Education and Training:

Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience:

One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
