Valley View Village, a Cassia community, is hiring Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team in Des Moines, IA. We offer an excellent staff-to-resident ratio to deliver compassionate care and strong resident relationships.

This full-time role includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and shifts designed for better work-life balance. Wage range starts at $37.50+ per hour, with comprehensive benefits for full-time staff and opportunities for tuition assistance and loan forgiveness at the site.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Iowa RN license or licensure in compact states.
• CPR certificate or willingness to obtain it.
• Stable work history with strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Notifies Clinical Manager and physicians of resident changes and follows up as needed.
• Administers medications and treatments per physician orders, monitoring effectiveness.
• Observes residents and reports changes in condition.
• Documents care using electronic medication administration and charting systems.
• Demonstrates courteous, respectful interactions with residents, families, and staff.
• Oversees CNA staff performance and provides guidance.

Valley View Village, a Cassia community, is hiring Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team! Our community qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) in Iowa after 120 qualifying payments. We’re also introducing new staffing patterns and shifts -designed to enhance flexibility and work-life balance for our team. We are offering a $10,000 bonus.

Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position

Shifts Available

• Evening 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm
• Night: 10:00 pm to 6:30 am

Wage Range: $37.50+ / hour depending on experience

Bonus: $10,000

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow-up action as necessary
• Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
• Monitor residents and report any change in their condition.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Monitor performance of CNA staff.
• Use strong interpersonal skills when interacting with others.

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Must have a current Iowa RN license or have RN licensure within the compact states.
• CPR certificate or willingness to obtain it.
• Stable work history.
• Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.
