Job summary

Mosaic Beatrice is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This full-time role offers day and evening shifts with rotating weekends, focusing on holistic care and advocacy within a caring, community-focused environment.

You will review medications, mentor support staff, and collaborate with physicians and families to enhance residents' quality of life while embracing a culture of belonging and balanced schedules.

Qualifications

• Active RN/LPN license in Nebraska.
• Nursing degree (BSN or ADN) preferred.
• At least one year of general nursing experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between locations.
• Ability to transfer up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate holistic care for a dedicated group of individuals.
• Provide guidance and training to direct support staff on healthcare needs and safety.
• Advocate with physicians and families to ensure high quality of life.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and support their milestones.

What We're Looking For

• The Right Credentials:An active RN/LPN license in Nebraska, a degree in Nursing (BSN or ADN) is preferred.
• Experience:At least one year of general nursing experience under your belt.
• Safety First:A valid driver's license and current CPR/First Aid certification.
• A Can-Do Attitude:The ability to travel between locations and work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the people we serve.
• Physical Stamina:You're comfortable being on the move-walking, standing, and the ability to safely transfer up to 50 pounds when needed.
