Job summary

Southfield Wellness Community in Iowa is seeking an RN to join our friendly, caring, and supportive team as a charge nurse within our skilled nursing unit.

As a charge nurse you will supervise clinical staff, ensure infection prevention practices, and help maintain appropriate staffing to deliver high-quality resident care. A current Iowa RN license is required, with SNF experience preferred. We offer incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license in Iowa or a compact state.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility settings is preferable.

Responsibilities

• As charge nurse, you will help manage operations of the assigned unit.
• You will supervise the activities of all clinical staff on the unit and provide guidance and education.
• You will help instill a positive and inclusive facility culture and ensure infection prevention practices are maintained.
• You will help ensure adequate staffing to meet residents' needs and deliver high-quality care.
• You will support residents in receiving an unparalleled standard of care.

As a charge nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Southfield Wellness Community by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident’s needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have: As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) RN license; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
