Southfield Wellness Community in Iowa is seeking a Charge Nurse to join our friendly, caring and supportive team. You will help manage operations on your assigned unit and supervise clinical staff to ensure high-quality resident care.

With an unencumbered RN license (Iowa or compact) and SNF experience preferred, you will provide guidance, uphold infection prevention practices, and help maintain appropriate staffing while fostering a positive facility culture.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered RN license for Iowa or compact state.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility preferable.
• Ability to supervise clinical staff and provide education.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations of the assigned unit as Charge Nurse.
• Supervise activities of all clinical staff on the unit.
• Provide guidance and education to clinical staff.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and appropriate staffing.

As a charge nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Southfield Wellness Community by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident’s needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) RN license; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
