Job summary

Nora Springs Care Center is seeking compassionate registered nurses to join our friendly, caring, and supportive team in Nora Springs, Iowa. We offer 12-hour shifts across 1st and 2nd shifts, with part-time, full-time, and PRN opportunities to fit your life.

As a staff nurse, you will help manage your unit, guide clinical staff, and uphold infection prevention practices while ensuring residents receive an exceptional standard of care. Iowa RN licensure is required; SNF experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered Iowa RN license.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit.
• Provide guidance and education to clinical staff.
• Maintain infection prevention practices.
• Ensure adequate staffing for residents’ needs.
• Uphold a high standard of resident care.

As a staff nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Nora Springs Care Center by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident’s needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) Registered Nurse (R.N.) license; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
