Qualifications

• Active RN license in West Virginia or eligibility to practice in WV.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

• Attention to detail and accurate documentation.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents.
• Assess residents' health conditions and monitor changes in status.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and policies.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
• Monitor residents' progress and communicate changes to the team.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Supervise and support nursing staff as appropriate.
• Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate residents and families regarding care needs and treatment plans.
• Follow infection prevention practices, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Fairmont Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is looking for dedicated and dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our nursing team! As an RN, you'll play an important role in supporting our residents' health, comfort, and quality of life while helping ensure they receive the attentive, individualized care they deserve.

What You'll Do

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents

• Assess residents' health conditions and monitor changes in their status

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies

• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans

• Monitor residents' progress and communicate changes to providers and the interdisciplinary team

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Supervise and support nursing staff as appropriate

• Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to promote positive resident outcomes

• Educate residents and families regarding care needs and treatment plans

• Follow infection prevention practices, safety procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements

What We're Looking For

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia or eligibility to practice in West Virginia

• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

• A compassionate, resident-focused approach to care

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation

• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
