Job summary

Serene Nursing Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in long-term care facilities in the Greater Seattle area. You will work various shifts, collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, and ensure care aligns with standards of care, policies and procedures.

The role requires a current state RN license, at least one year of experience preferred, ability to supervise CNAs, and flexibility with scheduling.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and assists with care for patients as needed.

amazing RN must:

• Provides direct patient care,assists with care for patients of others (as needed),
• Makes patient care assignments toother staff members on duty
• Responsible for the care deliveredby the nursing staff under his/her direction during the shift for which (s)heis on duty.
• Participates with physicianpartners and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implementpatient and family/significant other plan of care.
• Communicates effectively allrelevant information (e.g., patient information, safety issues, problems withequipment, quality issues, etc.) to immediate supervisor, in a timely way.
• Communicates and documents changesin patient condition, on a timely basis, to charge nurse/supervisor andphysician.
• Interprets, implements and enforcesall facility policies and procedures
• Assigns responsibility for thedirect care of residents
• Supervises the CNA staff
• Obtains and administers prescribedmedications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
• Observes patient, records significantconditions and reactions, and notifies resident family and physician informedof any changes in resident behavior, medications, or conditions of health

Requirements

• RegisteredNurse with current state license required
• Minimum of (1) one year experiencepreferred.
• Must be able to demonstrate theknowledge and skills in the nursing process necessary for those patientsrequiring the expertise of a professional registered nurse.
• Copy of updated Physical, based onstate requirements
• Copy of updated TB results/ Chestx-ray
• Must be able to work any shift asneeded and be flexible with scheduling requirements.
